Silent Auction – 2010
This year, Heatherstone will be hosting a Silent Auction in conjunction with the annual Fun Run event.  Nearly 100 items will be organized for all visitors to bid on with low minimum bids.  Everyone is welcome
to participate in this activity by bidding!  You may use your running bib number to bid. If  you will not be running in the Husky Hustle you may sign up for a number at the door.  The Silent Auction tables will be set up in the school gym.

Here are some of the great items already collected and available for the Silent Auction:

Garmin Nuvi
Restaurant baskets
A private party for 10 at Planet Beach ($800 value)
Teeth Whitening Package
Puppy with a free exam, free bottle of shampoo, and a gentle leader collar
and leash
A night in Branson with 2 silver dollar city tickets and 2 tickets to a show
Birthday parties from Mission Bowl in Olathe and Monkey Bizness

Teachers will also provide fun items to bid on like 30 minutes of basketball,
lunch from McDonalds, and more.  Each grade level will put together a  fun theme basket, as well.   There will be lots of great summer activities to bid on, too!

We will end the Silent Auction program with a raffle for an IPod touch with a $25 ITunes card and a $240
gift card from Moshiri Jewelry.

So as you can see by this partial listing, the Silent Auction will be a great addition to the annual Fun Run event.  Not only is it a creative and fun way to raise funds for the Heatherstone PTO, it’s a great opportunity to acquire wonderful gifts at auction rates.  Hope everyone can make it for all of the fun.
